HatziriTea & Botanicals
Our story
Hatziri is the indigenous Nahuatl word for dewdrop. It symbolizes the drop of life and gentle yet essential nourishment. It invites renewal through the idea that even smallest things can have a profound impact. Hatziri lets us know that wellness does not have to come from dramatic change, but from intentional daily choices, like a cup of tea.
The founder
Growing up, traditional remedies were part of everyday life. A grandmother and great-grandmother relied on teas and herbs because access to healthcare was limited. Those early experiences became a lasting interest in how plants support health.
That interest turned into a decade-long commitment to education, ending in a doctorate in Integrative Medicine with a specialization in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The goal was never the degree — it was to bridge traditional knowledge and modern science in a way that genuinely serves this community.
Expertise isn't having every answer. It's staying both a teacher and a lifelong student.

In loving memory
They brewed teas because a doctor was out of reach, and they kept the knowledge alive long before anyone called it wellness. This work is theirs as much as ours.
